Google Introduce Shopping Tab Listings Section

Google introduced Shopping Tab Listings Section in Search Console a New feature to help merchants grow their businesses across Google and help the online show their products on the Shopping tab on Google.

Another merchant update after Google more ways to help merchants and improve the shopping experience.

According to Google today, all the eligible online store owners who have implemented product markup (Schema) will see the new section in the search console called Shopping Tab Listings.

If you have an online shopping website and you have not added Schema to your products we recommend you must read the best way's to add Product Structured Data.

Is the New Shopping tab Listings Live for All?


No, this update will roll out and change gradually over the next few weeks according to Google document,  So you might not see any changes for now.


Why The Shopping Tab Listings Section?


According to Google with this new option merchants don't need to submit a product feed to Google for showing products in Google search we only need to keep the product structured data up-to-date.

This will get your products quickly on the Google Shopping tab and help you reach more people looking for your products.

Also, from the new tab in Google Search Console merchants will be able to easily create a Merchant Center account using, without re-verify website ownership by the simplified sign-up process.
